Friday August 10, 2001.
I met Dave at his house about 2:30 and we went over to Lowe's to setup for the weekend.
Saturday August 11, 2001.
When we were not working on the drivers stand (We added 8' giving us a total of 24'.)we did some testing to get the right gear for the larger track. I was also trying out some new shocks. I will be adding them to our other cars as soon as I get them finished. After getting the push (Huge push I might add)[The fix was more rear stagger and more camber to the right front].
Then it was time to have some fun and that we did.
The kids had a great time on the oval track running Legend cars. They helped Dave and I set up the track on Friday. So I brought out the legend cars so they could have a little fun as well. In the end we made everyone a winner.

Sunday August 12, 2001.
Dave and I spent most of the day working on the canopy for the drivers stand. When I had the chance Josh and I went at it on the track running trucks door to door and bumper to bumper. I am not sure there is anything as fun as racing quarter scale with your kid. When we are on the track I tell my boys to run hard and have fun. I have our trucks as close to the same as I can getem and it is a blast. Ace and Bill were working on getting their cars setup as well.
We gained another friend and who knows maybe in a few years a new driver.
Josh took most of the pictures posted this weekend as well as this picture of the sun/clouds.
Thought it was a good way to end a good weekend at the track.
