Here is how to bend simple Z bends.

If you need more information just let me know.

First bend the wire 100 degrees about 1/4" from the end.




Then bend the wire up 100 degrees so it looks like the image on the right.


Then rotate the last bend to form the Z.


You can fine tune the Z bend so there is no binding at the servo. You know you have it right when the horn slides on and off the servo without any binding because the servo arm is twisted. After you bend a few you will get the hang of it. I use Z bends at all my servo horns. I like them better than anything else I have used.
